So I've been thinking: "What is to be a full grown up?"
I've came up with two main ideas that could probably answer my question above: College Students and Paying the Bills.
Okay so let's start with thee old saying: "I finally have my own place! Away from parents!" This is resulting to College dorms (for me at least). Yes, its sad but true. Once you go to a far away college, you will have to separate from the dear old family, friends, and boy/girlfriend. So depressing, but students will soon forget about it once the 'parties' and the 'let's stay up late' comes around the corner. It's fun to get away from the strict family that always tend to call to know where you are. Now in dorms you have your own personal lives and individuality. But to live far away from home where parents are not there, is really to be grown up? My opinion may not matter to most, but this is what I think ... No m'lovely's. You don't become a true grown up by just living in your own. Actually ... the SCHOOL is taking care of you m'dear. You're being pampered and paying thousands of dollars for this. You're right you do live far away from the house gaining your own independence. However, you'll have to go back home once Thanksgiving, Winter break, spring break, and summer comes. Funny right? You're not even a full adult yet. So I laugh at this. You may think that you can finally be a grown up, but truthfully in my eyes ... you have a LOONG way to go. <3
Now, if you live alone (no parents, maybe live with a partner?) and pay your long await bills waiting for you on your desk. Then I consider you a full adult (kinda). You have a job, you know the responsibility of saving money and not spending it while asking for more from parents. Then I can see you are responsible and have the greater independence by paying bills with your own money from your job. (= So welcome to the adult hood in my eyes.
So anyway, enough talk about this "grown up" stuff. let's talk about my day, because i feel selfish right now. (= haha i'm always selfish! anyway, english class was pretty weird. I don't know how, but it just was. Japanese class was fun, except that the girl named Cherry is a bit stuck up. Kinda rude too. What a bitch. :\ Just kidding, but she was rude when we were practicing the dialogs. I mean we shouldn't just practice once only. She can't really pronounce some words too. =\ oh well, i know now to work with the korean guy instead! x] Eeto... I was terrified during astronomy class. someone in the beginning of the class had some medical problems, something similar to a stroke. I felt dizzy and shaky afterwards. I mean everybody knew that she had some sort of illness and I have to say ... it was a scary scene for me. Sigh... I really can never be a nurse or a doctor. It sucks butt, but I'm also scared of hospitals. Yuuck. I cannot stand them... the smell is too stong for me to handle. Oh well, maybe when i give birth I won't mind it. That or I might faint. LOL So after that I saw Ruthie on my way home. She complained about going to Skyline and is probably transferring to City next year or semester. Then I saw Donna, who also said about transferring to City. o_O; Wow, I ask myself: why? LOL.
Uugh. I'm really confused on which school to transfer. I know it's another year to wait, but it's a good head start no? The list goes in order: UCSC/USC, UCIrvine, SJSU, or some school in Great Britain. Why UK/GB/Whatever? Well ... I really don't like the economy in America right now. I really really don't. Sad right? Yeeeah. Oh well, let's see what the future has for me. I'm hopeful that it will be something not so bad and something i may like. But sometimes fate doesn't like it like that and is on the way. x] Yaaaawr.
Ah must get going. Fuego en la Sangre is on! <33 I love this show so bad... LOL.
Yeah, I think one of the guys is hot, too bad he's like what? 35 years old? LOL!
